Map Description: This map was ideally designed for four players. Each player starts in one of four corners on top of a large mountain plateau. The starting location hints at why I call the map "Pound Dogs". Each mountain has a fortification wall around its base with an entrance located at the front. This makes early tank rushing futile since it is very easy to defend the entrance.

Each mountain base only has three metal sources inside the walls so it is important to reclaim metal early on. There is a lot of scrap metal and rocks on the map. In the middle of the map there is a number of metal sources and steam vents.

If you want to have a more strategic game I suggest you disable all metal makers. This will force you to leave the comforts of your base and fight your opponent(s) over metal.

I think you will enjoy this map. It is very well balanced and allows you to incorporate a number of different strategies to obtain victory. Expect large battles and longer games. "To the victor go the spoils".

Scenario/History: Version 1.0 released March 30, 1998 (NCAA basketball finals Utah versus Kentucky)

Credits: Cavedog for their great game, map editor, and Plains and Passes, which I borrowed the mountainous terrain from to create, in my humble opinion, a much better mutiplayer map.
